Gulshan Polyols Ltd. has its Liquid glucose manufacturing facility at Jhagadia Industrial Estate in Gujarat, with a total production capacity of 10,000 TPA. GPL is an ISO 9001:2008 Company with HACCP certification. It is in the process of attaining GMP certification in the near future. The facility is set up in a total area of 150,000 sqmt providing employment to more than 500 people.

The Liquid Glucose facility has international quality equipments and technology, including Jet Cooker, Dextrination Tank, Triple Effect evaporator, Batch Evaporator filling tank etc capable to produce most superior quality of the product. GPL’s double enzyme process of manufacturing, produces LG which is colorless in appearance and has a lesser ash content as compared to the one made through acid conversion process.
The facility also has a 3 MW Captive Power Plant to fulfill its power needs. The facility follows regulated quality control measures in its state of the art micro-biology laboratory and lays great emphasis on R&D activities to meet its customer’s ever-changing needs.

GPL packages Liquid Glucose in 300 kg net weight barrels & 290kg Galvanized Iron drums or transported loose in S. S. tankers. The packaging can also be customized as per individual requirements.

Some of the major clients serviced by the company in the LG segment are Britannia Industries, Dabur, Candico, Times Food etc.

About Liquid Glucose

Liquid Glucose, also known as Glucose or Corn Syrup, is an adequous solution of various saccharides to provide maximum flexibility & broad range of applications. It is viscous syrup manufactured under stringent quality control parameters followed by various refining and thermo vacuum evaporation process.It is colorless, odorless, viscous sweet syrup, mainly used in confectionery and pharmaceuticals industry as a sweetener, preservative, crystallizing and bonding agent. It is also used as a granulating agent, for tablet coatings and as a base for artificial honey. Liquid glucose is also used as a raw material for gluconic acid, kojic acid and citric acid. Tobacco industry uses liquid glucose to impart flavor, texture & stability in chewing tobacco & cigarettes. In the leather industry, LG is used in the tanning process.
