About Grain Extra Neutral Alcohol (GENA)
Grain Extra Neutral Alcohol (GENA) is made from damaged food grain. It is the primary raw material for making alcoholic beverages. It is a colourless food-grade alcohol that does not have any impurities. It has a neutral smell and taste, and typically contains over 96% alcohol by volume. It is used in the production of alcoholic beverages such as whisky, vodka, gin, cane, liqueurs, and alcoholic fruit beverages.
ENA also serves as an essential ingredient in the manufacture of cosmetics and personal care products such as perfumes, toiletries, hair spray, etc. Given its properties as a good solvent, ENA also finds industrial use and is utilised in the production of some lacquers, paints and ink for the printing industry, as well as in pharmaceutical products such as antiseptics, drugs, syrups, medicated sprays.

Ethanol
About Ethanol from damaged food grain
Ethanol, also called ethyl alcohol, gasohol, or power fuel, is a member of a class of organic compounds that are given the general name alcohols with purity 99.9%. Its molecular formula is C2H5OH. Ethanol is an important industrial chemical; it is used as a solvent, in the synthesis of other organic chemicals, and as an additive to automotive gasoline (forming a mixture known as a gasohol). Plant supplies ethanol to OMC’s of oil companies.

Sanitizer
Alcohol rub sanitizers contain at least 70% alcohol (mainly ethyl alcohol) and kill 99.9% of the bacteria on hands 30 seconds after application and 99.99% to 99.999% in one minute.
The composition of Gulshan Hand Sanitizer is as follow:
- Ethyl Alcohol 80% v/v
- Glycerol 1.45% v/v
- Hydrogen Peroxide 0.125% v/v
- Essential oils
